Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Nice To Haves
- Efficient user of Excel (pivot tables, pivot tables, creating formulas, etc.), preferred.
- Familarity with Adobe Acrobat.
Responsibilities
- Prepares federal and state corporate income tax returns using tax software.
- Prepares supporting workpapers to reconcile, calculate and document book to tax differences.
- Prepares, processes, and validates recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries (journal/payments).
- Prepares reports and statements for various state and regulatory filings for assigned companies.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word.
- Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
