About The Position

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience whose expertise is focused primarily on tax rather than audit. In this role, you'll work on a diverse portfolio of business and individual tax engagements, collaborate directly with partners, and build long-term client relationships. The firm offers a supportive, team-oriented culture with hybrid work flexibility for candidates who can periodically work from the Allentown office.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of public accounting experience
• Strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and planning
• Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns
• Solid understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with occasional time in the Allentown office

Nice To Haves

• CPA license preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and other business entities
• Prepare complex individual income tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
• Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide guidance throughout engagements
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Collaborate with partners on client tax planning and advisory projects
• Support consulting engagements and other special tax initiatives
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations
