Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or degree in a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel required
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize filing returns

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with AS400, and Oracle/JDEdwards is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file sales tax returns with the United States and Canada jurisdictions
• Prepare and file local jurisdictions’ income tax returns/business privilege tax returns
• Prepare and file payroll and unemployment tax returns
• Ensure accuracy of all tax payments and work with supervisor to address outages
• Respond to notices/letters from tax authorities with assistance from supervisor
• Maintain tax calendar
• Assist Supervisor as needed
