About The Position

Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join its Finance team. The role manages tax compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting audits, tax planning, and cross-border initiatives. The position is based on-site at the Fort Lauderdale headquarters, with work hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of accounting experience, with indirect and global tax experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while following procedures and instructions.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree or CPA.
Knowledge of tax software.

Responsibilities

File indirect taxes, including sales, VAT, and GST, and other applicable local taxes accurately and on time.
Research and ensure compliance with state, local, and global tax regulations.
Reconcile general ledger tax accounts, including property, sales, use, corporate income, and VAT.
Support tax inquiries and audits from internal and external auditors and government agencies worldwide.
Monitor tax legislation updates, assess business impact, and communicate changes to leadership.
Perform month-end close tax tasks, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Support global tax planning, transfer pricing analysis, and intercompany transaction documentation.
Maintain and improve internal controls related to tax reporting and compliance.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, IT, and other teams to ensure proper tax treatment of business transactions.
Assist in implementing tax automation tools and ERP system enhancements.
