Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of recent public accounting experience within a CPA firm
  • Strong experience preparing and/or reviewing: 1040s, 1041s, 1065s, 1120s, 1120S returns
  • Solid understanding of federal and state tax compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) strongly preferred
  • CPA candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review a variety of federal and state tax returns
  • Work with: Individual Returns (1040), Trust & Estate Returns (1041), Partnership Returns (1065), Corporate Returns (1120 & 1120S)
  • Research tax issues and develop solutions for clients
  • Assist with tax planning projects and proactive tax-saving strategies
  • Collaborate with Partners and senior leadership on complex engagements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations
