About The Position

The Tax Accountant II, Fiduciary Tax, Private Bank provides technical fiduciary tax expertise to Private Bank client teams, with a focus on differentiating client service and expanding client relationships. The role provides accurate and timely tax reporting for assigned accounts and conducts tax research to resolve complex tax issues. It is expected to comply with client-focused service standards, bank standards and policies, and federal and state fiduciary tax reporting requirements. The position is based at 110 N Wacker Dr, Bank of America Tower Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, and is described as first shift with 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• A BS degree in Accounting or similar education.
• Three to four years of prior fiduciary tax accounting experience.
• High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent is listed as the minimum education requirement.
• Skills in account management, attention to detail, policies, procedures and guidelines management, relationship building, interpreting relevant laws, rules and regulations, issue management, record keeping, risk management, tax administration, business process analysis, client experience branding, client management, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members to provide technical tax expertise and ensure assigned accounts are fulfilled to achieve client service standards.
• Prepare complex federal and state individual income fiduciary tax returns.
• Comply with bank standards and policies, federal and state tax law, and client service standards.
• Act as a tax technical resource for Private Bank client teams.
