About The Position
St. Julian Winery is seeking a dependable and outgoing Tasting Room Key Holder for their Troy team. This part-time leadership role offers the opportunity to work with people, learn about wine, and be part of a fun and energetic team. No prior wine expertise is required; the focus is on strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the confidence to assist in leading the team and ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements
- Retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Previous Key Holder, shift lead, supervisor, or similar experience
- Enjoy working with people and creating a great customer experience
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking the lead when needed
- Can multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
- Comfortable talking with individuals and groups
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Weekend & Holiday Availability Required
Responsibilities
- Lead fun and approachable wine tastings for guests
- Help guests find wines they love and complete purchases
- Open and close the tasting room when scheduled
- Assist with cash handling, closing procedures, and deposits
- Help guide and support Wine Consultants during the shift
- Assist with events, promotions, and busy tasting room weekends
- Restock wine and merchandise and maintain attractive displays
- Help keep the tasting room organized, welcoming, and ready for guests
