About The Position

EDC Consulting LLC is seeking a Task Order Project Manager to lead a multi-year-old PeopleSoft support and modernization engagement supporting complex financial, supply chain, logistics, and procurement operations in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • PeopleSoft & FSCM Delivery Experience (Required)
  • 10+ years of IT project/engagement management experience, with a minimum of 5+ years leading Oracle PeopleSoft programs.
  • Deep experience with PeopleSoft FSCM modules, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management; Purchasing, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management; Project Costing, Grants, Commitment Control (KK)
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering PeopleSoft FSCM implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven success managing end-to-end PeopleSoft project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Direct experience leading PeopleSoft engagements for public sector, port authority, transportation, or large enterprise clients is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success managing managed services and project-based models concurrently, with formal SLAs/KPIs and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft lifecycle management (PUM, tools and application upgrades, regression testing, cutover planning).
  • Proven experience in governance frameworks, risk management, and stakeholder communication in public sector or large enterprise environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams (functional, technical, DBA/infra, security).

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall PeopleSoft engagement delivery across managed services, projects, and strategic advisory, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and growth plans.
  • Own governance and communication with executive and operational stakeholders, including steering meetings, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
  • Oversee SLA- and KPI-driven managed support services, ensuring incident, problem, change, and release processes meet or exceed contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate the integrated roadmap of upgrades, PUM cycles, enhancements, and optimization initiatives in partnership with client leadership.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for project-based work, including resource planning, quality management, and acceptance of key deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and business continuity expectations defined in the contract, including monitoring and reporting of compliance posture.
