Requirements

  • Five years’ experience in Government contracts, finance, or project planning and management.
  • Knowledge of construction and subcontractor relations, government contracting, capable of creating and maintaining paper flow in an organized manner and estimating experience.
  • Must have advanced aptitude in MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.
  • Supervisory skills in planning, organizing, and completion of scheduled work.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Be a S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver’s license with excellent driving record.
  • Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).

Nice To Haves

  • Ten (10) years of active project management experience. Five of the ten years’ experience may be offset with degree in related field.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English & Spanish.
  • Procurement experience.
  • Federal government experience in a military facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the BTO lifecycle, from order generation to completion, including working with the Government on scope development, soliciting vendors, estimating, quoting work, working procurement documents, providing oversight, quality control, and maintaining tracking logs
  • Create purchase requests, cost estimates utilizing Chugach software and support procurement throughout the vendor and subcontract lifecycle.
  • Plan division of work, assign work to crews and checks completion of jobs for compliance with special instructions and good trade practices. Plan and develop recurring work list for current fiscal year to include estimates of requirements for labor, material, special equipment, and vehicles.
  • Act as a liaison between government officials and subcontractors as required
  • Inspect work areas for orderliness and proper removal of waste in accordance with company and government regulations.
  • Maintain current files or directives, technical orders and instructions pertaining to the work of the shop. Responsible for the accuracy of costs, production, and other records reflecting work of the shop. Request materials to ensure proper flow of work. Ensure correctness of time and attendance records of subordinates.
  • Conduct a safety program. Keep subordinates and vendors informed on safety rules and safe working practices and maintains surveillance to enforce them. Adapt or modify work methods to reduce hazards. Report accidents and injuries.
  • Utilize the present skills of employees to enhance their skills and advance in accordance with their abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to situations that could cause discrimination complaints and take prompt constructive action to eliminate such situations.
  • Perform other duties assigned, including supporting other project functions; i.e. quality inspections and reporting, procurement, record keeping
  • Timely completion and accuracy of all work
  • Work closely and harmoniously with other employees
  • Adherence to contract requirements and CCS, LLC policies.
