About The Position

The tarp sewer position is responsible for a variety of different tarps and tarp systems in a manufacturing environment, under the supervision and direction of department production supervisor.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of manufacturing-related experience.
• 1-3 years of sewing experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Understanding of safety and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs tarp sewing operations to support the production floor.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the team lead and department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Must be familiar with sewing concepts in order to perform the tasks stated above.
