About The Position

This position is responsible for pulling tarp off all incoming loads and washing the drop lot area while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any Tarp Puller opening. Must be able to read and understand assignments and complete necessary documentation. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Requires ability to use basic hand tools to perform basic mechanical and maintenance operations. Must use high-pressure hoses as required. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

  • Requires ability to use basic hand tools to perform basic mechanical and maintenance operations.
