About The Position

This program manager role is part of the Collins Aerospace central tariff mitigation team. The primary focus will be leading efforts in 232 metals mitigation work and supplier outreach. Collins Aerospace is a business unit of RTX, an aerospace and defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • 3+ years program management, operations or supply chain experience
  • 3+ years experience in reporting

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day coordination of tariff mitigation activities and serve as the central point of communication for the 232 metals and supplier outreach workstream.
  • Leads supplier relationships that enable mitigation of 232 duties.
  • Maintains accurate and accessible repositories that allow brokers to identify and act on duty-mitigation opportunities.
  • Ensure cross‑functional alignment across LCC, SC, Ops, Finance, and Engineering.
  • Track financial impacts, benefits, and exposure; partner with Finance to validate.
  • Flag risks early, drive issue resolution, and escalate through Collins’s tariff team and leadership as needed.
  • Prepare concise status updates, dashboards, and decision summaries for leadership.
  • Monitors for regulatory updates and changes to eligibility criteria for duty exemption.
  • Maintain documentation: risk logs, action trackers, decision registers, and implementation plans.
  • Support development of standard work, playbooks, and templates to enable repeatable mitigation processes.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
