About The Position

As a Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA), you will: Conduct advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to generate insights and leads Ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain additional target information Maintain appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis Identify intelligence gaps to tailor current collection or enable new collection to close the gaps Employ multiple analysis disciplines such as pattern recognition against targets' communications, network usage and digital footprints Apply your knowledge and understanding of IC needs and missions Be part of a team, working together with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise Apply your innate curiosity and analytical talent to form hypotheses, critically assess and choose analysis techniques, then query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights Distill, document, contextualize and share your findings--including any new tradecraft that you develop--with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers

Requirements

  • Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security). Up to 18 semester hours of military training/coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an Associate degree.
  • Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development.
  • Capable of running basic DNI and DNR queries to answer specific questions with existing Agency tools.
  • Can task own selectors with assistance of senior analysts.
  • Able to evaluate leads for tasking and able to use appropriate tasking authorities.
  • Possess a basic understanding internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing.
  • Possess a basic understanding of SIGINT collection.
  • Capable of basic target discovery and collection triage.
  • Fully cleared with FSP
  • 4 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
  • 6 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
  • 8 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
  • 10 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
  • 12 years’ applicable experience without a degree
