About The Position

HenHouse Brewing Co. is seeking an exceptional taproom bartender to join our Novato taproom team. The bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing knowledgeable and attentive service, and representing the HenHouse brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Bartenders are ambassadors for the company, building relationships with guests while creating experiences that encourage them to return. Successful Bartenders combine hospitality, efficiency, teamwork, a passion for craft beer, and attention to detail while contributing to a clean, organized, and energetic taproom environment. This position requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Scheduled hours will vary based on business needs, typically ranging from 5-8 hours per day, with shifts starting in the late morning to early afternoon and ending between 6-10pm. The number of shifts per week generally ranges from 3 to 5 depending on business needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in the hospitality field (restaurants, brewpubs, bars, wineries, cafes, etc.)
  • 1+ years in the craft beer industry
  • Outstanding hospitality and customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage bar setup and breakdown.
