About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Tools Applications Processing (TAP) Lab Operations Integrator to support Space Systems Command’s (SSC) Kronos Family of Systems (FoS) in advancing cutting edge Operational Command and Control (C2) and Space Battle Management (BM). This role requires an experienced professional with a strong commitment to implementing rigorous technical standards and processes working in the Colorado Springs, CO office. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting the development, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge SDA software capabilities. Requirements

• Experienced professional with a strong commitment to implementing rigorous technical standards and processes.
• Subject matter expert (SME) in C2 Ops Integration and BM.
• Familiarity with closing the gap between traditional DoD acquisition practices and commercial solutions.
• Experience integrating emerging technologies.
• Ability to provide technical solutions for space C2 and BM initiatives.
• Experience maintaining high development standards.
• Experience conducting assessments of software solutions, test plans, and integration processes.
• Experience leading or contributing to the development, refinement, and enforcement of program-level engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
• Experience collaborating with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, developers, and external stakeholders.
• Experience providing expert technical consultation on acquisition strategies, system designs, cybersecurity best practices, supply chain security, and risk management.
• Experience developing and coordinating acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Strategy Plans (ASPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and cost and technical evaluations.
• Experience facilitating implementation of agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in C2 Ops Integration and BM while ensuring we close the gap between traditional DoD acquisition practices and commercial solutions.
• Support the TAP Lab's innovation mission by integrating emerging technologies, providing technical solutions for space C2 and BM initiatives, and maintaining the highest development standards.
• Conduct assessments of software solutions, test plans, and integration processes to ensure operational readiness and mission effectiveness.
• Lead or contribute to the development, refinement, and enforcement of program-level engineering policies, standards, and procedures specific to SDA enhancement and technology advancement.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, developers, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within schedule and budget constraints.
• Provide expert technical consultation to SSC leadership and program teams on acquisition strategies, system designs, cybersecurity best practices, supply chain security, and risk management related to SDA systems.
• Develop and coordinate acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Strategy Plans (ASPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and cost and technical evaluations.
• Facilitate implementation of agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to improve cross-functional team collaboration and program execution.
