About The Position

The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of tank trailer and ISO cleaning, including inspecting the trailer for residual product, and post-cleaning inspection of the interior/exterior of the trailer. This role involves safely and effectively preparing, cleaning, and inspecting tank trailers and ISOs, including vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment. The technician must also operate atmospheric testing equipment, understand confined space rescue equipment, and maintain a clean and safe wash facility environment.

Requirements

1 year’s relevant experience
Mechanical ability and inclination
Excellent attention to details
Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) chemical information
Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business related software.

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers and ISOs, including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per normal tank cleaning procedures.
Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment used in confined space rescue.
Comply with the Company provided literature and training and all existing Federal, State, Local and Company requirements, rules, and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties.
Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operation of facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc.
Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility.
Other duties as assigned.
