About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to supply customers by delivering ALC’s liquid and gaseous products via tanker truck in accordance with ALC’s guidelines and procedures, using the appropriate equipment, complying with transportation laws and regulations, and ensuring that ALC’s safety and quality objectives are upheld. Obtains the route sheet and ensures it contains all necessary information; Gathers all documentation and equipment required for the route; Conducts a pre-departure inspection of the equipment, records any issues that need to be corrected in the inspection report, and notifies the maintenance coordinator and repair technician. Reviews road conditions and customer requirements. Ensures the truck is loaded in accordance with procedures and regulations; Upon arrival at the delivery point, checks the condition of the equipment and the customer’s facility. Record any anomalies observed on-site and submit them to their supervisor at the end of the route, or contact the repair technician for any delivery non-conformities. Unload the product into the customer’s tank according to established procedures. Provides accurate delivery slips for all ALC products sold to customers to ensure correct billing. Enters all relevant information into the barcode system. Ensures that all forms and records for which they are responsible are properly completed.

Requirements

  • Class 1 truck driving license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Class 1 driver
  • Make safety your top priority
