About The Position

Mercer Landmark is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as part-time Propane Tank Painters this summer. The primary responsibility of this position is to paint and maintain propane tanks, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards and appearance guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license is required, as this role involves some travel to different job sites.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items as required.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Must be reliable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in painting, construction, or similar fields is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Apply paint to propane tanks according to company specifications and safety standards.
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Inspect tanks before and after painting to ensure quality and adherence to guidelines.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of painting materials and chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
Occasionally transport materials and supplies to various locations using company vehicle (must have a valid driver’s license).
Follow safety guidelines and procedures while working in different environments.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
