About The Position

ARG PETRO, a well-established wholesale fuel and lubricant company with over 82 years in the industry, is currently seeking a Tank Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Tank Maintenance Technician supports tank-related field operations, including inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and fabrication activities of all tank related operations. Repair and programing of card reading and electronic control systems, minor electrical wiring, Repair and installation of plumbing and piping. This role involves physically demanding work in industrial and confined-space environments while adhering to all company safety, health, and environmental policies.

Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, dry).
Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments.
Comfortable performing hands-on, dirty work.

Nice To Haves

Background in underground or aboveground storage tanks installations.
Confined space or other OSHA certifications (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of the hazardous waste and fueling industry.
Previous tank maintenance experience or mechanical background.
Knowledge of card reading and control systems.
Plumbing experience.
Minor electrical wiring knowledge.
Oil field background a plus.
Basic understanding of tank set up, pump repairs and metering systems associated with fuel/lube industry.
Experienced in wiring and program fuel control systems.

Responsibilities

Assist with tank-related shop/field work including inspections, cleaning, and maintenance.
Support general construction activities as required.
Perform work in confined spaces and industrial environments.
Follow company safety, health, and environmental procedures.
