Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to work 8AM-8PM (Monday-Friday)
  • Basic Math knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Reviews shipping documents prior to receiving wastes to ensure accurate information.
  • Samples all incoming waste shipments in a timely and safe manner.
  • Performs the required analysis in accordance with the facility’s waste analysis plan and records the results.
  • Transfers drums and bulk containers into appropriate tanks and/or trucks using stationary or portable engine pumps.
  • Performs daily and weekly inspections, including tank/wastes inventory.
  • Forwards and receives Shipping & Receiving data/logs and manifests to and from the Compliance Assistant in a timely manner.
  • Maintains copies of the shipping and receiving logs on site.
  • Maintains supplies such as the test equipment/kits, sample containers, labels to perform waste analysis, spill kit supplies, PPE, eye wash solution.
  • Ensures visitors comply with safety procedures.
  • Keeps work areas clean and cleans spills/leaks and places residues in appropriate receptacle to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
