About The Position

We are a family-owned Minnesota based business with a shop in Stanley, North Dakota, hiring for a 1st shift Tank Cargo Inspector Technician. This role is responsible for the complete testing and inspections of cargo tank vessels of tanks and trailers. We are looking for someone detail oriented, mechanically inclined, with a great attitude. Requirements

  • Great work ethic
  • 3 years of Cargo Tank experience (required)
  • Willingness to jump in and help out where needed
  • Attention to details
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience or technical training
  • DOT (certification a plus)
  • CDL (preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine servicing and repairs of tankers.
  • Diagnose, troubleshooting of Tank/Trailer repairs
  • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems
  • Inspect the overall condition of Tankers to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
  • Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
