About The Position
PSC Group is seeking a licensed Tank Barge PIC to serve in a vital role as part of our nation’s petroleum and chemical shipping industry. This position requires a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC). Competitive pay with growth opportunities!
Requirements
- Must hold a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC (DL) Endorsement.
- Must have a current TWIC card and valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation and telephone.
- Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Must pass any required medical exams.
- Must speak, write, and read fluent English.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Tank Barge PIC preferred.
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a licensed Tank Barge PIC.
- Handle petroleum and chemical products.
- Ensure safety and environmental protection.
- Attend to on-site requirements and punctuality.
- Wear all required PPE without restriction.
- Perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
