About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Tanium Cyber Infrastructure Engineer to manage endpoint management, vulnerability detection, patch compliance, real-time monitoring, and automation across NAVINTEL enterprise networks to support our customer in Suitland, MD. This role requires an individual who is proactive and driven, as Leidos emphasizes a culture of innovation and exceeding expectations.

Requirements

BA/BS in CS, IT, IA or related area with 8+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Extensive experience with cyber infrastructure or security tool engineering.
Demonstrated experience supporting Computer Network Defense (CND) operations and technologies.
Professional experience designing, developing, integrating, implementing, operating, and analyzing cybersecurity technologies.
Strong experience with Tanium or equivalent endpoint management platforms.
Scripting/automation skills in PowerShell or Python.
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, endpoint compliance, RMF, and Zero Trust operations.
Active IAT or IAM Level II/III DoD approved 8570 baseline certification, such as Security+ CE or CASP certification.
Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Deploy and administer Tanium Core, Module Server, Zone Servers, and endpoint modules for patching, compliance, and vulnerability management.
Monitor endpoint health, reporting, automation, and SIEM integrations.
Support incident response and forensic data collection.
Maintain operational documentation, dashboards, and compliance evidence.
