The Talk With Your Baby (TWYB) Parent Educator plays an important role in supporting parents and caregivers as they build meaningful connections with their young children and discover the powerful impact of everyday interactions. As part of a collaborative, multi-organization parent education initiative, this role will teach engaging classes and coordinate family-focused events that help parents understand early childhood development and their critical role in supporting it. TWYB uses research-based strategies and curriculum to help families understand how simple, everyday conversations with young children can have a lasting impact. Talking with babies and young children helps build vocabulary, cognitive development, and experiences that lay the groundwork for future reading success while also strengthening social and emotional development. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with families, share practical tools and resources, and turn research into strategies parents can use every day. Whether leading a class, facilitating a family event, or engaging with parents one-on-one, your work will help families feel confident in supporting their child’s growth and development. This is an opportunity to bring your energy, creativity, and passion for early childhood education to a program focused on helping children—and the families who support them—thrive.
