As our Talent Recruiter, you will drive full-cycle hiring to build high-performing teams across every department. Beyond standard sourcing, you will serve with your peers, as the face of IdeaTek at key recruitment events and career fairs, engaging talent across a variety of our capabilities. Location: This role will be a hybrid opportunity - working in Buhler, KS, Wichita, KS, and remotely, with travel to other work locations as needed.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Recruiter, ideally within a high-growth environment.
Proven track record of successfully hiring top-performing professionals.
Expertise in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) – experience with Paylocity is a plus.
Willingness to travel periodically to event sites, regional offices, and expansion locations including Tucson, AZ.

Nice To Haves

Prior recruiting experience within telecommunications, technology, or high-growth entrepreneurial environments.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment across a variety of company functions (such as Operations, Sales, Field Operations, and Corporate), tailoring your approach to the unique technical and skill requirements of each department.
Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, niche telecom networks, and employee referrals to engage both active and passive candidate pipelines for immediate and future growth needs.
Lead offer extensions, compensation discussions, and negotiations to secure top-tier talent seamlessly.
Partner directly with department heads and hiring managers on forecasted headcount needs, craft targeted job descriptions, establish clear evaluation rubrics, and deliver local talent market insights.
Deliver an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience through prompt communication, transparent feedback, and structured interviewing processes.
Track recruitment metrics to continuously improve cycle times, maintain ATS compliance (Paylocity), and strengthen our reputation as a Best Place to Work.
Support in planning, logistics, and execution for IdeaTek’s presence at college career fairs, technical school showcases, diversity hiring expos, and regional telecom conferences across Kansas and Arizona.
Participate in local community events, career workshops, and internal open houses to build strong local talent pipelines and champion IdeaTek as a top employer in the region.
Measure event ROI by tracking lead conversion rates, candidate engagement metrics, and event-driven hires to continuously optimize our outreach strategy.
