About The Position

The Volume is a digital media company built around strong voices, unique perspectives, and influential personalities. In addition to our core content business, we operate a growing e-commerce operation focused on apparel and accessories. We’re looking for a highly organized, creative, and proactive Talent Producer to lead talent booking and relationships across our network, working closely with entertainment and sports representatives. This role will play a critical part in shaping content by identifying, securing, and managing talent while ensuring a seamless experience from pitch through production.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in talent booking, production, or a related role within media, sports, or entertainment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with high-profile talent and executives.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a strong pulse on sports, entertainment, and pop culture.
  • Experienced in handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and willing to travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong existing relationships with talent representatives (agents, managers, publicists) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end talent booking process, from outreach and pitching to confirmation and execution.
  • Identify and secure high-impact talent across sports, entertainment, and culture to align with programming goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with publicists, agents, teams, managers, and talent directly.
  • Collaborate with creative and editorial teams to ideate and pitch talent-driven content.
  • Manage talent offers, negotiations, and communications to ensure timely follow-ups and deal completion.
  • Oversee talent logistics including scheduling, travel, and on-site coordination for shoots and appearances.
  • Create and oversee talent itineraries.
  • Attend shoots and recordings to support talent needs and ensure a smooth production experience.
  • Track industry trends and emerging talent to inform booking strategy.
  • Represent the company professionally in all external interactions and contribute to additional projects as needed.
