Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and student needs.
• All candidates must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting, as required by state law.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, especially for substitute teacher roles.

Responsibilities

• Following lesson plans and instructions left by the regular classroom teacher.
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Managing student behavior and ensuring student safety.
• Adhering to all school policies and procedures.
• Artistic Instruction, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Music Instruction.
• Assisting a teacher with classroom management and instruction.
• Providing one-on-one or small-group support to students.
• Supervising students in the classroom, on the playground, or during lunch.
• Substitute School Nurse.
• Before and Aftercare program support.
• Office / Front Desk Support.
• Bus Drivers.
