About The Position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, execution-driven Talent Planning & Succession Consultant to support AT&T’s enterprise talent planning process. In this role, you’ll partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to deliver consistent, high-quality talent planning cycles, including calibration sessions, talent assessments, and data readiness. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment and enjoys turning complex processes into scalable, repeatable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • 5–8 years of experience in Talent Management, HR Operations, or HRBP support
  • Experience with talent planning, succession planning, or calibration preferred
  • Strong process management and attention to detail
  • Experience with Workday or similar HR systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Execute Talent Planning Processes: Support end-to-end delivery of talent planning cycles, including the 4-box framework and key talent indicators (e.g., retention risk, impact of loss, talent agility). Ensure consistent application across business units and maintain process documentation, timelines, and standards. Act as the expert to HRBPs for guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Lead Calibration Support: Coordinate and support calibration sessions by managing materials, tracking pre-work, and ensuring alignment to enterprise standards.
  • Drive Data Quality & Insights: Monitor and validate Workday data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain trackers and dashboards to ensure readiness for leadership reviews.
  • Develop Tools & Resources: Create and maintain HRBP toolkits, templates, and job aids to enable consistent execution at scale.
  • Support People Day Execution: Manage logistics, scheduling, and materials for talent review sessions, ensuring teams meet deadlines and preparation standards.
  • Partner with HRBPs & Leaders: Act as a trusted partner by providing guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth execution across business units.
  • Ensure Confidentiality & Integrity: Handle sensitive talent data with professionalism and uphold the integrity of the talent planning process.
