Talent Operations Specialist, Emerging Talent

Ramp•New York, NY
•$88,000 - $121,000•Onsite

About The Position

Emerging Talent is an important part of how Ramp builds for the long term. It gives us the opportunity to meet exceptional people early, build relationships before they enter the broader talent market, and develop the next generation of Ramp talent. We’re hiring an Emerging Talent Operations Associate to help run the operational foundation behind our internship and new-grad programs. You’ll partner with recruiters, coordinators, hiring managers, People Ops, and IT to keep candidate data, interviews, offers, onboarding, and intern support moving smoothly. You’ll help create an exceptional experience from a candidate’s first interaction with Ramp through offer and, for interns, potential conversion to full-time. This is a hands-on role for someone organized and resourceful who enjoys making complex programs feel seamless. As you learn the work, you’ll help improve processes, templates, and simple automations. This is a temporary, full-time role with strong potential to convert to a permanent full-time position.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent or program operations, university recruiting, events, or another detail-heavy service role. Equivalent experience is welcome.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Clear, warm communication, timely updates, and reliable follow-through.
  • Comfort managing shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Curiosity about learning new tools and improving how work gets done.
  • Good judgment, ownership, and a habit of raising issues early.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ashby, Greenhouse, or another applicant-tracking system.
  • Familiarity working with Talent, People Ops, IT, Workplace, or Payroll.
  • Experience improving a process, tracker, template, or workflow.
  • Care, curiosity, and strong follow-through matter most.

  • Help coordinate onboarding, access, housing, and other intern and new-hire needs.
  • Track recurring work, flag risks early, and keep important details from slipping.

  • Identify repetitive work that could be simplified with AI or practical automation.
  • During slower operational periods, support program management.
