About The Position

This role focuses on enhancing the new hire experience and fostering employee engagement within the production associate team. The specialist will coordinate onboarding activities, serve as a key point of contact for new employees, and actively work to improve retention through engagement initiatives. Additionally, the role involves managing relationships with staffing vendors and providing essential support to the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for all new hourly production associates.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of required employment documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Monitor attendance and engagement during the critical first 90 days of employment.
  • Partner with supervisors to ensure successful integration of new employees into the workforce.
  • Build strong relationships with production associates through regular floor presence and employee interaction.
  • Conduct employee check-ins, coaching sessions, and stay interviews to improve retention.
  • Address employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Support employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and morale-building activities.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and provide guidance on workplace policies and expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Hansen Technologies and staffing agency partners.
  • Coordinate workforce planning efforts to meet production staffing requirements.
  • Monitor contingent workforce performance, attendance, turnover, and retention metrics.
  • Facilitate communication regarding openings, employee performance, and workforce needs.
  • Participate in staffing strategy discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Support policy communication and compliance efforts.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation.
  • Assist with workforce reporting, attendance tracking, and employee data management.
  • Support HR initiatives related to training, compliance, and employee development.
