About The Position

AerSale® is a global leader and market innovator specializing in aviation products and services to meet the growing demand for aftermarket support in global passenger, cargo, and government segments. Featuring complete aircraft nose-to-tail, value-added offerings, including Aircraft & Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services (MRO), Aircraft & Engine Sales and Leasing, Used Serviceable Material (USM) Sales and Parts Exchange, Flight Equipment Asset Management Services, Internally developed aircraft and component modifications (engineered solutions) designed to enhance aircraft performance and operating economics (e.g. AerSale®, AerTrak® and AerAware).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and staffing
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel (pivot tables, v-loops, etc).
  • Must have a working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS), preferably with Workday.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Employment Laws.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and manage talent acquisition strategies to proactively build and maintain a quality talent pipeline.
  • Sources and engages passive and active candidates.
  • Establishes networks and builds relationships with recruiting agencies, contracting houses, secondary and post-secondary institutions and associations to attract quality candidates.
  • Creates and posts job requisitions.
  • Screens resumes, evaluates assessment results, and conducts onsite interviews to identify and make recommendations on hiring.
  • Makes recommendations for staffing initiatives including events, advertising, etc.
  • Oversee the new hire process including compliance, ensuring candidates have proper work authorization and applicable background checks.
  • Assists in visa initiatives identifying qualified candidates and working with Talent Director and outside immigration counsel.
  • Assists leaders in identifying candidates for promotions or internal transfers.
  • Provides support to other business units as it relates to large scale hiring projects.
  • Provides metrics and insights to track recruiting performance and initiatives.
  • May conduct orientation on an as needed basis.
  • May participate in exit interviews and process terminations on an as needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
