We are currently seeking a Talent Management Support Specialist to join our growing Consulting team. FMP is seeking a Talent Management Support Specialist to support federal staffing, recruitment, classification, and payroll activities. This role provides advisory and operational HR support but does not establish client policy.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal staffing, recruitment, and position classification
  • Working knowledge of federal HR laws, regulations, and policies
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • As a federal contractor, FMP follows federal drug-free workplace guidelines.

  • Experience with eOPF, USA Staffing, and FPPS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Advise managers on recruitment strategies, special hiring authorities, and student and intern programs.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment actions, including vacancy announcements, applicant qualification review, referral certificates, and offer letters.
  • Assist with workforce and staffing planning by analyzing turnover, prior recruitment efforts, and labor market trends.
  • Provide support with federal position classification, including title, series, and grade determinations.
  • Assist with organizational changes, position management reviews, and classification surveys related to reorganizations.
  • Support payroll administration, including data review, issue resolution, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Upload and maintain employee documentation in eOPF and staffing case files in automated HR systems.
  • Maintain staffing records, update tracking systems, and prepare weekly status reports.
  • Monitor shared HR inboxes and ticket systems, responding to routine inquiries and escalating complex issues.
  • Support job postings, applicant sourcing, and outreach through job boards and social media.
