You are a strategic Talent Management leader with experience designing and leading programs that strengthen employee performance, development, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness. You understand how talent practices drive business results and are skilled at translating organizational needs into practical, scalable solutions that support both employees and leaders. You are equally comfortable working with frontline leaders, senior executives, and HR partners to influence decisions, guide talent discussions, and build processes that create a culture of growth, and accountability. You bring an open-minded approach using a balance of data, insights, and strong relationships to drive meaningful outcomes across the organization. In this role you will lead Weyerhaeuser's Talent Management team, owning the design of our system tools and partnering closely with leaders across Operations and Staff Functions to build a high-performing workforce. You will be responsible for strategy, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of talent processes including Goal Planning, Performance Reviews, Personal Development, Talent Assessment, and Coaching & Feedback. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you will help create alignment between talent priorities and business objectives, while ensuring employees have clear expectations, meaningful development opportunities, and the support needed to grow their careers. We are a growing Talent Management team focused on building the processes, systems, and insights that help our people and business succeed. As part of Weyerhaeuser’s Talent, Inclusion, communications and Culture organization, we play a key role in bringing talent strategies to life. Our team values collaboration, continuous improvement, and doing work that is practical and meaningful. We believe that when talent processes are clear, well-run, and thoughtfully designed, they create a better experience for employees and stronger outcomes for the business. Note: We are in the process of migrating to UKG Pro as our new cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The successful candidate for this role will assist in this system implementation, which will go live later this year, and then serve as the primary system administrator for Talent Management tools going forward (see more detailed responsibilities below).
