About The Position

TensorWave is seeking a Talent Intelligence Sourcing Lead to join their team during an exciting phase of growth. This role is crucial in shaping the talent attraction foundation to support company growth, working closely with cross-functional partners to achieve business objectives while maintaining high standards. This is a unique sourcing role that requires a builder with strong technical grounding, a passion for sourcing, and the ability to operate creatively and precisely in a dynamic environment. The lead will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and engineers to identify, engage, and inspire top talent for challenging AI problems. A key aspect of this role is leveraging AI to automate and augment the sourcing workflow, treating it as a system to be engineered. The Talent Intelligence Sourcing Lead will be responsible for researching, identifying, and engaging engineering and technical talent, collaborating with recruitment and hiring teams to understand technical requirements, and building strong candidate pipelines using diverse sourcing strategies including AI-assisted automation. They will also be responsible for building and refining their own tooling and workflows, acting as the first point of contact for candidates, analyzing pipeline data for optimization, and adapting to shifting priorities. The role involves team leadership, mentoring a small team of technical sourcers, designing innovative sourcing strategies, ensuring operational excellence, providing market intelligence, leveraging AI for recruiting, fostering cross-functional partnerships, establishing metrics for sourcing effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement in processes and workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of extensive technical recruiting/sourcing experience
  • Proficiency with ATS (Ashby) and CRM systems (Linkedin Recruiter, GEM, Juicebox, etc.)
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced or evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively and operate with autonomy
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for cloud infrastructure, data center operations, AI/ML, or developer-focused companies
  • Exposure to early-stage or hypergrowth environments (Seed through Series D )
  • Experience supporting headcount planning and working within structured hiring processes
  • Experience using AI tools to automate recruiting workflows

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and engage engineering and technical talent across multiple disciplines and experience levels
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring teams to deeply understand technical requirements and calibrate profiles with accuracy and nuance
  • Use a wide range of sourcing strategies, including advanced research, talent mapping, referrals, AI-assisted automation, and creative outreach, to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Build and refine your own tooling and workflows, leveraging AI to automate repetitive work and spend more of your time on high-judgment sourcing
  • Act as a candidate's first introduction to Tensorwave, delivering an authentic and compelling story about our mission, products, values and team culture
  • Track and analyze pipeline data to drive continuous optimization and improvements in sourcing approaches
  • Operate with agility, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, hard-to-fill roles, and changing team needs
  • Build and mentor a small team of technical sourcers focused on identifying exceptional Engineering talent across infrastructure, software engineering and specialized technical roles.
  • Design creative, non-traditional strategies to engage passive technical talent and build robust, diverse pipelines for critical roles.
  • Ensure high-quality execution, documentation, and communication while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Provide data-backed insights on talent trends, competitive compensation landscapes, and global talent markets.
  • Iterate to leverage AI in useful ways within the Talent Intelligence and broader Recruiting teams workflows
  • Work with hiring managers, leadership, and employer branding to align on hiring needs and strengthen Tensorwave’s footprint in the global talent community.
  • Establish robust metrics to track sourcing effectiveness, funnel health, and time-to-hire
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency while building scalable workflows
