Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • In place of a degree, 5+ years of HR, Recruiting, and/or Training experience will be considered.
  • Industry experience in transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics preferred
  • Proven track record of identifying, evaluating, and hiring top talent based on merit and job-relevant skills.
  • Strong communication, time management, and project management skills.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems, applicant tracking software, and training platforms.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Approximately 25% travel required.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

  • Industry experience in transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment focused on attracting top-tier, qualified candidates across sales, operations, and support teams.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs based on business growth and operational objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of the hiring process, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Design and implement onboarding and training programs that are role-specific, outcome-driven, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Partner with department leaders to assess skill gaps and implement scalable employee training programs.
  • Track key metrics related to hiring effectiveness, employee development, and retention.
  • Ensure all hiring and training practices are based on clear, merit-based standards and individual performance potential.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Support broader HR initiatives as needed, including performance evaluations, policy updates, and workforce planning.
