About The Position

The Talent Development & Onboarding Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive onboarding and corporate training programs that support employee success from their first day and throughout their development. This role establishes structured learning paths for all new hires, drives ongoing training initiatives, and supports talent acquisition and broader HR functions. The position works closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure training programs are aligned with organizational goals, promote employee engagement, and strengthen overall workforce capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–7 years of HR experience with a strong focus on onboarding, training, talent development, or organizational development.
  • Experience designing or managing training programs and/or LMS platforms required.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, adult learning principles, and instructional design concepts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, LMS, and standard office software platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve structured onboarding programs for all new hires.
  • Create clear, role-specific learning paths that ensure consistent and comprehensive training across departments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, training sessions, and follow-up assessments.
  • Partner with leadership to identify training needs and develop scalable corporate training programs.
  • Create and maintain training materials, standardized documentation, and digital learning content.
  • Manage and optimize the learning management system (LMS), including reporting, scheduling, and content updates.
  • Track, analyze, and report training completion, employee progress, and program effectiveness.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screenings, and interview coordination.
  • Maintain accurate HR records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide support to employees and managers by addressing and responding to recruiting, onboarding/new hire and training inquiries.
