About The Position

Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is seeking a Talent Coordinator to join its Montréal office. Reporting to the Legal Talent Director and the Legal Talent Assistant Director, the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about professional development and wants to make a concrete difference in the career of our students and articling students.

Requirements

  • College diploma in business administration, marketing or human resources or equivalent experience in an administrative or coordination position
  • More than two years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a law firm
  • Strong interest in event planning and solid organizational skills
  • Creativity, autonomy and willingness to take responsibility
  • Meticulousness and attention to detail
  • Discretion
  • Excellent team player, efficiency and ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
  • Positive and customer service-oriented attitude (internal and external)
  • Very good computer skills (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.) and willingness to learn new software
  • Good working knowledge of both English and French languages

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource person for students and articling students and coordinate processes related to programs and other projects under the responsibility of the Legal Talent team (onboarding, mentoring, training, performance evaluation, day-to-day management of activities, etc.)
  • Work with the Student Committee and the team in place, and collaborate in the selection and coordination of sponsorships and recruitment activities
  • Participate in the organization and planning of several internal events
  • Be available from time to time to attend evening events related to the responsibilities of the position
  • Take part in various projects related to the professional development of students and articling students
  • Act as a resource person during the Course aux stages period and help coordinate the process with the team in place
  • Participate in the creation, planning, publication and modification of content dedicated to students and articling students on the various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), as well as on the firm's intranet and website
  • Participate in several administrative tasks including, but not limited to, updating documents and policies, processing invoices, preparing presentations, booking rooms and meals, and monitoring the sponsorship budget
  • Collaborate with the Legal Talent team and assist in the accomplishment of various related and sporadic tasks, as required
