About The Position

Orr Fellowship is looking for a highly skilled individual to serve as the connective tissue of our Indianapolis chapter. The ideal candidate enjoys a variety of responsibilities including; coordinating recruitment efforts, managing Fellow programming, planning and executing events, nurturing partner company relationships, and supporting marketing and communications. Above all, they will be comfortable in a role that demands creativity, high attention to detail, a people-first mindset, and genuine investment in the success of young professionals. The role will report to the President. This role is for you if: You are passionate about early career talent development. Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Passion for early career talent and willingness to work with and support Orr Fellows and their unique journeys
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-organized with strong multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Experience in event planning, community building, or program coordination
  • Able to handle stress, problem-solve, and remain calm

Responsibilities

  • Identify key stakeholders at partner universities and build relationships with them. This will include occasional travel to various campus locations.
  • Collaborate with Fellows and teammates to build and execute a cohesive recruitment strategy.
  • Manage the pipeline of high-quality candidates from sourcing and application through onboarding.
  • Ensure Fellow culture remains positive and compelling throughout the recruitment season.
  • Run onboarding and the integration of new Fellows for the first few months of the Fellowship experience.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Indianapolis Fellows throughout their two-year experience.
  • Assist in onboarding and leading the Fellow Leadership Team.
  • Communicate with current Fellows to understand requirements and constraints for each event and manage corresponding data throughout the year.
  • Support our Senior Director of Engagement & Regional Director, Evansville on opportunities to strengthen cohort community and support Fellows navigating challenges at their partner companies.
  • Coordinate and plan logistics for select events including venue, food/drink, materials, and attendee communications while paying close attention to financial and time constraints.
  • Support Senior Director of Talent & Partnerships in maximizing Partner Company experience with Orr Fellows and the program.
  • Collaborate with the team on onboarding and integrating new partner companies.
  • Source Fellow stories, partner company spotlights, and program updates to support brand awareness.
  • Support broader marketing efforts that drive recruitment pipeline and program visibility.
  • Orr Fellowship operates as a lean team and there will be times when this person will need to perform duties outside of the listed responsibilities.
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn, and passion for supporting early career professionals is critical for success in this role.
  • Some evenings, weekend events, and travel will be required.
