The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, support developing innovative sourcing strategies, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent. This role is critical to ensuring the organization has the workforce needed to advance its mission and serve the community effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Two or more years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Experience recruiting in a nonprofit, healthcare, social services, or mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions from requisition to onboarding.
  • Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
  • Screen resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Conduct phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers.
  • Attend career fairs, workforce development events, and networking opportunities.
  • Build relationships with colleges, universities, community organizations, and professional associations.
  • Promote the organization's mission, culture, and career opportunities.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring outcomes.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Maintain confidential candidate and employee information.
  • Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, and other HR initiatives as needed.
