About The Position

Rhoads Industries is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) to join their dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting high-volume recruiting efforts while driving best-in-class candidate experiences and strategic hiring initiatives. The TAS will recruit for a variety of positions including but not limited to Professional, Technical, Production and Temporary roles. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sourcing top talent, supporting hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition process, driving best practices in the assessment and selection process, managing key stakeholders, developing and strengthening employer branding initiatives, and delivering timely and data-driven recruitment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 2 years in high-volume or corporate environments.
  • Strong proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data-driven recruitment and reporting.
  • Experience supporting corporate functions (i.e. Operations, IT, Finance, Quality, Safety, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience implementing employer branding strategies across platforms such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in HR or Recruiting (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume roles across departments, from requisition to onboarding.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, social media, and networking.
  • Maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for both immediate and future needs.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates based on role requirements and organizational fit.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, job specifications, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Provide regular updates, guidance, and support to hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct intake meetings and facilitate debriefs to ensure alignment and consistency in decision-making.
  • Collaborate across HR and Rhoads leadership to promote employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, career fairs, and networking engagements.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates).
  • Supporting Talent Director in preparing weekly/monthly reports and present key insights to HR and senior leadership.
  • Ensure recruiting practices align with internal policies and compliance standards (e.g., EEO, OFCCP, GDPR).
  • Assist in the development of the job descriptions and create compelling and accurate job postings to attract qualified candidates.
  • Post job openings on various platforms in compliance with the company’s AAP Plan and monitor the responses.
  • Recommend improvements to talent acquisition workflows and systems.
  • Contribute to projects around diversity hiring, talent market research, and automation.
  • Serve as a mentor or lead to junior recruiters, providing coaching and support.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
