The annual salary range for this full-time position is $58,000 – 62,000. The schedule is Monday-Friday during normal business hours, and it is based at our headquarters in Baraboo, WI, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity of 2-3 days at home during the week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least three years of experience in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Experience advertising positions, screening applications, conducting interviews, and advising hiring managers on effective hiring practices.
  • Experience working with HR information systems.
  • Highly organized, relationship-focused professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a genuine passion for supporting employees and advancing the mission of a conservation-focused organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of U.S.-based staff, ensuring candidates and new employees experience a welcoming, professional, and mission-centered organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent.
  • Guide the hiring process from job posting through offer acceptance.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities that help new employees successfully integrate into the organization.
  • Support employee benefits administration.
  • Assist with employee relations activities.
  • Help foster a positive workplace culture through employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
  • Play a key role in creating an exceptional employee experience from the very first interaction.
