About The Position

The Toro Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team and drive full-cycle recruiting efforts across a range of corporate functions, including supply chain, operations, legal, finance, and other business-critical areas. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver high-quality talent in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate excels at balancing multiple requisitions while building relationships and maintaining a strong focus on candidate experience and hiring outcomes. As a trusted recruiting partner, you will manage the entire hiring lifecycle—from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation—ensuring a seamless and compliant process. You will leverage a variety of sourcing channels, proactively build talent pipelines, and provide market insights to inform hiring decisions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-7 years of progressive, corporate-environment, full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal leaders, hiring managers and HR partners
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional market drivers and candidate supply and demand
  • Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruitment tools
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws with particular focus on talent acquisition

Responsibilities

  • Support company talent acquisition strategies in alignment with the business objectives of TTC.
  • Build relationships and partner with HR business leaders and hiring managers to understand open positions and hiring needs.
  • Utilize a variety of methods including but not limited to professional networking, community outreach and cold calling to attract and source candidates for open roles and build a network for future openings.
  • Effectively use common tools as well as generate creative ideas for attracting and sourcing candidates.
  • Actively engage in recruiting activities aimed at reaching a diverse pool of candidates including but not limited to women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Evaluate candidates through phone screens and behavioral-based interviews.
  • Serve as a talent advisor to advise, influence and make sound judgment calls on candidate viability and offer negotiation.
  • Effectively and efficiently prioritize requisition loads; work independently to fill positions in a responsive and timely manner.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned or apparent.
