A-Gas is a global expert in the full life-cycle management of specialty chemicals and gases, including refrigerants, blowing agents, fire protection agents, and carbon credit offsets. A-Gas leads the industry in environmental solutions through its people, technical expertise, and advanced recovery, reclamation, and gas processing technologies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the collaborative People and Culture Team at A-Gas, contributing to a great employee experience. This position will directly assist the Talent Acquisition Manager at the Rhome, TX site, focusing on operational recruitment, extending job offers, attending job fairs, hosting onboarding/orientation, and supporting employee relations projects. The role requires onsite work to support the Operations team directly, with potential for hybrid flexibility after the training period.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-desk recruiting (agency or corporate)
  • Proven headhunting skills and success engaging passive candidates
  • Experience recruiting in operations, manufacturing, or technical environments
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple roles at once
  • Proficient with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general HR technology
  • High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Own full cycle recruiting for a wide range of roles (operations to professional level across our 40+ US locations)
  • Conduct hiring manager intake sessions and build tailored recruitment strategies
  • Use headhunting and advanced sourcing methods to attract top and passive candidates
  • Manage all stages of the hiring process: Job postings (ATS and external boards), Resume screening and phone interviews, Interview coordination and scheduling, Offer extension and negotiation
  • Attend and host job fairs and community outreach events in the DFW market
  • Lead or support the new hire onboarding experience and orientation
  • Champion diversity hiring initiatives and ensure Affirmative Action compliance
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS and HRIS systems
  • Support HR team with employee relations projects and general compliance
