About The Position

As a Talent Specialist, you will assist with generating interest in employment of potential applicants and sell the opportunity to live, work, and explore at our National Parks. This is a high-volume recruiting role supporting one or more of our locations. You will work in a collaborative environment striving to help identify top-tier talent and staff our locations to provide unforgettable experiences for our guests. This position reports to a Talent Supervisor and is based out of our Denver Headquarters. This is a hybrid position.

Requirements

  • At least one year of previous experience in talent acquisition.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume hiring and/or seasonal environment is strongly preferred.
  • Exhibits professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication with candidates, team members, and co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the human resources team.
  • Ability to communicate park-specific information including housing facilities and company/departmental procedures.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn Applicant Tracking System.
  • Prior experience with iCIMS specific products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit for domestic front-line, hourly and salaried positions.
  • Perform job activities to ensure property hiring needs are achieved, including meeting or exceeding interview goals.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system to post requisitions, screen candidates, conduct interviews, extend job offers and declines.
  • Ensure adequate job offers are issued to meet hiring needs.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the locations, job responsibilities related to each of your requisitions, and lifestyle and benefits of park life at supported location(s).
  • Provide a professional, legally compliant, and consistent selection and onboarding experience for applicants.
  • Consistently apply established criteria in the candidate evaluation process.
  • Ensure data integrity in applicant tracking system by following established workflow guidelines.
  • May conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to determine job specific skills, qualifications, compensation, ideal start date and other critical information for effective phone screens.
  • Be the point of contact for hiring managers by communicating with them in a timely, professional manner.
  • Provide hiring managers with guidance regarding hiring best practices.
  • Maintain extensive contact with incoming employees.
  • Offer accurate directions and information regarding the location, the Company, and job specifics.
  • Work closely with talent coordinator and location to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Participate in virtual or on-site hiring events as needed.
  • Attend and participate in staffing update calls with property departments as assigned.
  • Maintain property staffing guide and other relevant tracking documents as required.
  • Handle confidential and/or sensitive information related to employment decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
