About The Position

Kenworth is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter to support the full recruiting lifecycle. In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to support sourcing, outreach, candidate screening, and the hiring process. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in recruiting. You’ll develop skills in customer focus, relationship building, organization, and communication, while contributing to a results driven and collaborative HR team at Kenworth and PACCAR.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience working in HR, sales, marketing, or other people-facing roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools
  • Interest in talent acquisition and building a career in recruiting
  • Exposure to SuccessFactors is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the full-cycle recruiting process by managing job postings, sourcing, scheduling and candidate communications while building and promoting the PACCAR and Kenworth employer brand.
  • Assist in sourcing candidates for a variety of roles, including technical and non-technical positions (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounting, etc.)
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and build candidate pipelines
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens
  • Help coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to identify internal talent and support internal mobility efforts
  • Maintain accurate data in SuccessFactors
  • Support recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
  • Drive and take a proactive approach to partnering with hiring managers to support and advance recruiting efforts
