About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Generalist to help grow, support, and strengthen our workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about attracting and retaining top talent. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to leading full-cycle recruiting and retention initiatives — from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and pre-hire processing. You will also play a key role in enhancing the new-hire experience, driving onboarding, and elevating our employer brand within the community. Additional responsibilities will support broader HR Generalist and administrative functions, contributing to a positive and efficient workplace.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, recruitment coordination, or HR Generalist roles
  • Proven experience supporting full-cycle recruiting in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms such as ADP and/or Workday preferred
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel to perform basic data analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • HR Generalist experience preferred
  • Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly positions, from requisition intake through onboarding.
  • Support salary recruiting efforts led by HR Manager.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
  • Source candidates using job boards, ATS platform, social media, networking tools, referrals, etc.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, skills, and motivational fit
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate feedback and next steps
  • Schedule interviews, participate in interviews as needed, and facilitate communication between candidates and interview teams
  • Dispositioning of all candidates, including feedback, facilitating offers, and pre-employment processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and networking opportunities
  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, hiring outcomes, and new hire turnover
  • Support employee onboarding, orientation, and training coordination
  • Provide HR administrative support, including documentation and record maintenance
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and cross-functional HR projects
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations
