About The Position

Questrade Financial Group (QFG) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 3-month contract position. This role will support the rapid growth and evolving talent needs of QFG's Banking line of business by executing high-volume recruitment strategies. The specialist will partner with the business, manage the full-cycle recruitment process, and leverage traditional methods alongside AI-driven tools to find, attract, and select candidates in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a specific focus on high-volume and/or corporate services roles
  • Post-secondary education in HR Management, Psychology, Business, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with a high degree of professionalism
  • Proficient with recruitment technologies (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (i.e. Gemini or Claude) to optimize workflows
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Team-oriented and skilled at working within a collaborative, hybrid work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to improve hiring outcomes
  • Highly adaptable to shifting priorities and changing demands

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Bank-related business groups.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring leaders to define role requirements and align on hiring/sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the full candidate journey, including prescreening, scheduling interviews, leading offer negotiations, and onboarding assistance.
  • Partner with the TA Lead, HRBPs, and Business Leaders to forecast hiring needs and ensure all hiring targets are met.
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools to increase screening efficiency, reduce bias, and objectively analyze large applicant pools.
  • Research talent pools and source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and non-traditional channels to build consistent pipelines.
  • Support the ongoing assessment of TA workflows and recommend improvements through AI-driven solutions.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador for QFG, ensuring every applicant receives professional, timely updates and a welcoming brand interaction.
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized records of all candidate interactions, including interview notes and debriefs, to ensure process consistency.
