About The Position

National Heritage Academies (NHA) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Consultant to partner with communities in building and operating public charter schools. NHA serves over 100 schools in nine states, with more than 65,000 students. The role focuses on sourcing and attracting teacher candidates to ensure NHA schools are prepared for success in college, career, and life. This position is based at the NHA Service Center in Grand Rapids, MI.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, communications, business, or a related discipline, preferred.
3+ years experience with sourcing/recruiting, sales, customer service, or applicant tracking systems, preferred.

Responsibilities

Sources for open teacher positions and potential openings.
Builds networks and pipelines of teacher candidates for prospective openings.
Attend teacher networking events, career fairs (in-person or virtual), and other educational events to build a candidate pipeline.
Utilizes a wide range of sourcing tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, NHA specific CRM, and more) to find and nurture teaching leads.
Sells prospective candidates on NHA and the benefits of taking a job with NHA.
Screens candidates for eligibility for school positions.
Works closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to retain and attract talent.
Travel (10%) consists of attending school visits, networking, professional development, and university-level career events.
Act as a brand ambassador and promote NHA as an employer of choice through career events, seminars, and day-to-day communications.
