About The Position

Provident Bank is seeking a proactive, curious, results-driven Sourcer with strong analytical skills to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Sourcer will build and maintain pipelines of qualified passive talent by using research, sourcing strategies, and market insights. Working closely with recruiters, this individual will identify high-potential candidates for engagement across multiple functions and job families. This is a temporary assignment with the potential to lead to full-time, regular employment based on business needs and individual performance. The role will also serve as backup support to the Senior Talent Acquisition Administrator by assisting with pre- and post-employment administrative activities as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands competitive talent markets, and is energized by identifying exceptional talent.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to identify and attract passive candidates through multiple sourcing channels.
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other CRM or ATS platforms.
  • Ability to use advanced sourcing tools to identify talent
  • Must have proven experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with Talent
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Strong sense of urgency, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Comfortable managing multiple roles and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage sensitive candidate and employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail in onboarding, background check, iVault, ADP, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Ability to support time-sensitive pre-employment and termination workflows while balancing sourcing priorities.
  • 3+ years of experience in administration, sourcing, research, or recruitment coordination, either in-house or agency.
  • 2+ years of experience using LinkedIn Recruiter as a primary sourcing tool to identify talent and is proficient in its capabilities
  • High school diploma required.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience sourcing within the banking, financial services, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with roles in Commercial Lending, Wealth Management, Credit Administration, Compliance, or Risk Management
  • Demonstrated ability to support hard-to-fill or specialized roles
  • LinkedIn Certified Professional- Recruiter

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and develop passive talent pipelines using advanced sourcing strategies, with LinkedIn Recruiter as the primary sourcing tool.
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of prospects aligned with recruiter and business priorities.
  • Create personalized outreach messages that reflect the bank’s values and generate interest among passive candidates.
  • Conduct exploratory outreach and brief phone screens to assess candidate interest, qualifications, and availability.
  • Represent Provident Bank’s employment brand by creating a strong first impression and helping candidates understand what makes the organization unique.
  • Engage passive talent through a candidate-first, consultative approach focused on transparency and long-term fit.
  • Communicate the bank’s culture, mission, and Guiding Principles while presenting open roles in a compelling and authentic way.
  • Present qualified talent leads to recruiters with clear notes, insights, and context.
  • Establish sourcing strategies and priorities in partnership with the TA Manager.
  • Partner with recruiters to calibrate candidate profiles and align sourcing efforts with business needs.
  • Attend recruiter intake meetings and pipeline review sessions.
  • Keep sourcing activities organized and current, including LinkedIn Projects and related tracking tools.
  • Track and report sourcing activity and related metrics.
  • Enters new hires, transfers, terminations, and status changes into iVault for workflow approvals.
  • Initiates and tracks pre-employment background checks for new hires, internal transfers, and contingent workers.
  • Review results and escalate when appropriate.
  • Sends compliant pre-adverse and final adverse action letters when necessary.
  • Partners directly with candidates to resolve background discrepancies or open items.
  • Send new hire welcome emails upon background clearance.
  • Notify the HRIS team to initiate system onboarding.
  • Ensure Day One logistics are communicated and completed.
