The Talent Acquisition Sourcer is responsible for all aspects of candidate generation and the candidate experience in support of various Talent Acquisition Partners, business segments and company strategies. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related job experience.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to exercise good judgement.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing business conditions and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement creative and targeted search/marketing strategies to achieve the necessary candidate flow and quality through effective utilization of the Veritiv Careers Site, Job Boards, LinkedIn and Social Media while adhering to laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, staffing and hiring practices.
  • Ensure a strong Candidate Experience through effective communication and responsiveness, an understanding of the candidate’s needs and the efficient facilitation of the recruiting process.
  • Promptly communicate and make recommendations to TA Partner on status of sourcing for open positions and any process flows needing improvement to garner quality and quantity of applicant flow.
  • Effective utilization of Workday and CRM systems, including proper documentation, pipelining of future candidates, development of our talent pool and applicant review.
  • Become proficient in the Veritiv story to build brand awareness in the candidate marketplace.
